3 Signs You May Want to Invest in a Water Filtration System

There are plenty of properties throughout the Southern California region that do not need a water filtration system – but there are plenty that could benefit from them as well. At High Speed Plumbing we are here to help with all your plumbing needs but if the water itself is the issue, then a water filtration system may be the right solution.

Keep reading to discover three signs that this may be worth your investment. Then contact us at 626-890-0185 if you have questions or need drain cleaning or other plumbing services.

  1. Your Water is Dirty

  2. Before water gets from its original source to your tap, it is filtered through a city or municipal system. However, some are better than others – and nothing can filter out 100% of contaminants. If you can see that your water is dirty then it is very likely you can benefit from a water filtration system.

  3. You Have Reason to Believe Your Water is Dangerous

  4. Water is essential to all human life but there are instances in which it can be made unhealthy. For example, do you live near a processing plant that you suspect does not properly dispose of waste? Do you live in a suspect industrial area? Has there been a chemical or other type of waste spill near your home recently? Is there an excess of chlorine in your water? If you have reason to believe that your water is not safe then it is absolutely worth it to invest in a water filtration system.

  5. You Go Through a Lot of Bottled Water

  6. Even if you simply don’t like the taste, if you are using bottled water on a regular basis then it is likely worth it to invest in a water filtration system. Remember that, first of all, bottled water is not even necessarily cleaner than your tap water – it all depends on where it was bottled. Second, it is expensive and the money you spend on that bottled water could go toward having a water filtration system instead.

Finally, consider how much plastic you are going through if you are buying bottled water. Even if you recycle it, it cannot be 100% recycled. Why create waste when you could simply have your own water filtrated to be safe?

We Can Help Ensure Your Pipes Are Clean and Safe

It is possible that the water is perfectly safe and clean coming from its source, but is becoming dirty and contaminated due to a problem with your plumbing system. If this is the case, then High Speed Plumbing is here to help. You can reach us at 626-890-0185 if you would like us to take a look and let you know what your options are.
